Stage preview

A summit finish at the Aramón Valdelinares ski station in Teruel, at around 1,700 m. After the gravel of the previous day, tired legs meet a long final climb — a combination that historically produces significant time gaps.

Stage favourites

Stage 7 (Vall d'Alba → Aramón Valdelinares, 149.8 km) is a mountain stage with 3,572 m of cumulative climbing — one of the race's queen stages. Pure climbers capable of sustaining high power output on long ascents are the ones to watch.

The real race begins on the final climb. Any rider distanced before the summit will lose significant time on GC rivals.
