Stage preview

Granollers sends the riders north toward the French border for one last big Catalan crowd. Despite nearly 3,900 m of climbing and the Col de Toses, the plateau near Font-Romeu and the short climb into Les Angles (1.7 km at 7%) could open the door for a breakaway surprise.

Stage favourites

Stage 3 (Granollers → Les Angles, 195.9 km) is a mountain stage with 3,906 m of cumulative climbing — one of the race's queen stages. Pure climbers capable of sustaining high power output on long ascents are the ones to watch.

The real race begins on the final climb. Any rider distanced before the summit will lose significant time on GC rivals.
